Manavi

Manavi PDO lies in outer Kakheti, at the foot of the southern slopes of the Gombori Mountains. Its vineyards are at altitude – between 450-800 metres above sea level. But in spite of this altitude, the climate is subtropical, oscillating between dry and moderately humid.

Manavi PDO wines are dry and white. They’re made using Rkatsiteli and Mstvane Kakhuri, Kakheti’s two main grapes. The classic PDO style is straw-yellow with hints of green. They have aromas of flowers, white fruit and a light, mineral flavour.
